The new Hamann Guardian features a far more extended front apron with larger air inlets installed with daylight running lights, giving the Guardian a more dynamic stance. It also receives an ultra-light carbon bonnet which improves engine ventilation. The sides skirts has been extended by 120 mm at the front axle and 160 mm at the back. A new diffuser is also installed providing room for the two central stainless steel end pipes measuring 120 mm in width.
Hamann engineers are able to increased Cayenne Turbo performance to 550 hp with a maximum torque of 770 Nm. This is done with the help of Hamann’s performance enhancement package which includes sports silencer, sports catalysts, sports air filter and an optimized engine map. Hamann Guardian is able to hit a speed from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h.
At this enormous speed it needs an excellent brake system, Hamann equipped Guardian with a CERAMIC sports brake system developed in collaboration with MOV’IT. The brake discs which measures 420 x 40 mm (in the front) and 380 x 32 mm (in the back) are clamped by six front piston calipers and four rear piston calipers.
For the wheels, Hamann used an ultra-light 11Jx23 inch Unique Forged rims wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres sized 315/25 R23. It also receives an air suspension system which enable Hamann Guardian to be lowered up to 35 mm.
